Ankita Sharma’s guest appearance in Maha episode of Jai Maa Vindhyavasini!

 Ankita Sharma, better known as Nimrit from Life OK’s popular daily soap Amrit Manthan will be seen making guest appearance in the Maha episode of Jai Maa Vindhyavasini. The show is soon bringing Ganesh Chathurti celebration and with the same a whole lot of changes in the lives of Shiv and Gauri will be revealed.

According to the sources, “On this auspicious occasion of Ganpati celebrations going on with a lot of gusto, Soorajbhan is busy plotting his marriage with Gauri using Vikram as a pawn. While Gauri’s sister-in-law Kamla is fully aware of this evil plan by Soorajbhan, she doesn’t reveal anything to the family. Gauri and Shiv are at loggerheads ever since the proposal. Beautiful and vivacious Dimple Jhangiani, who is known for playing Nimrit on Life OK’s Amrit Manthan, is currently seen playing a bubby girl Minty in Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal on Colors. She said she likes being a part of out and out comedy show, which is far from all rona-dhona seen in her previous show.

She elaborated her happiness saying, “Till date, I have done characters which require a lot of rona-dhona. Those were typical saas-bahu characters where I had to wear a saree. This role is an out and out comedy role wherein I portray a very modern, young, bubbly and a fun-loving character called Minty, which is what I really am. I am excited that I am going to play my age. I get to wear western attire and colourful accessories, which is so like me. Earlier, I have always played aunty type characters. I am a very easy and fun loving person by nature. Produced by Rajan Shahi, it was launched on February 26, 2012 with all pump and glory.  Karan Mehra, who is seen as Yug in Life OK‘s Amrit Manthan, is not only appreciated for his good looks, acting skills and a phenomenal chemistry with Amrit (Adaa Khan) but for his humorous side too.

Recently, Adaa happened to reveal how Karan had played a prank on her while shooting for a drunken sequence. She said, “We had to shoot for a sequence whereby Karan was required to be shown drunk. Karan came up to me and said that he will get drunk in reality in order to add a genuine touch to the scene. For the same, I asked my director and he too confirmed that he himself gave permission to Karan. After we shot for the scenes, Karan said because of excessive drinking his head was pounding. The atmosphere became worse when he became dizzy and nauseated. I got so worried that I immediately ran and bought water for him.” Read more…

Television actress Ankita Sharma, who is acclaimed for portrayal of Nimrit in Amrit Manthan, which airs on Life OK, is reportedly not satisfied with her pay package, which she is getting from the production house and is pondering to quit the show.

Ankita has been associated with Amrit Manthan since it went on air on February 26, 2012. She is playing second lead opposite Adaa Khan aka Amrit in the show. But according to source, she is not satisfied with the pay package she gets from her producers and needs a hike. Owing to the actress’ courteous behavior, the producers have asked for time to think over her proposal and if producers agree to Ankita’s quoted amount she will remain or else the makers will need to find a new Nimrit or play with the track.
