I want to play Daayan someday, asserts Kritika Kamra!

 Kritika Kamra, who will soon be seen in Ekta Kapoor‘s supernatural series Ek Thi Naayika, a promotional television series for film Ek Thi Daayan, says she wants to play negative character on small screen.

“I want to play a Daayan some day, I think that will be really interesting and exciting to try out. Also it will be a big challenge for me and I would definitely want to challenge myself,” said Kritika who was introduced on television by Ekta Kapoor through youth show Kitni Mohabbat Hai. It is well known to all that Sony‘s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is wrapping up as the lead actress Kritika Kamra wanted a break and the channel and producers gave in before her wish.

Meanwhile, Sharad Kelkar, who plays the main lead opposite Kritika, says that this news did come to him as a shock. He said, “Very honestly, it was a shock. There was nothing hidden and Rajanji (producer Rajan Shahi) himself told us that Kritika wanted a break and that’s the reason the serial was going off-air.  Kritika Kamra has suddenly turned the talk of town, courtesy the shutting down of her show on Sony TV, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. As reported earlier too, this Rajan Shahi show is bidding adieu to all its fans as lead actress Kritika is willing to take a break.

It is notable that Kritika too confirmed the same stating that she has been working since quite some time and now needs a break. Kritika Kamra gets candid about Kuch Toh Log Kahenge going off air!

The lead actress of the television show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Kritika Kamra finally reveals that the show is nearing its end and would end very soon. As this is the last month for the show, Kritika talks about moving on.

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is ending as Kritika Kamra wants to take a break!

Just a day ago it was said that Sony TV’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is going off air on March 28. And now we have got the reason behind the shutting of this Rajan Shahi production.

The show, launched at 8 pm, was later shifted to the 11 pm slot after the channel realized that it fetched better ratings. Based on popular Pakistani show Dhoop Kinare, the show also saw a change in its male lead when Sharad Kelkar stepped into the shoes of Mohnish Behl and formed the pair alongside Kritika Kamra. In the past too one came across Rajan Shahi‘s daily soap Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (KTLK) aired on Sony Entertainment Television going off. However, every time such news was circulated, it turned to be a mere rumor.

However, now it is all confirmed that the show is to wind up and will bid adieu to fans on March 28, 2013. One can notice that the show based on Pakistani hit drama Dhoop Kinare initially had Mohnish Behl playing the male lead opposite Kritika Kamra. Ishita Sharma, who is presently seen playing Anji in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (Director’s Kut Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television, had been missing from the shoot since last fifteen days.

Wondering why? Well, here is what Ishita has to say. The lady stated, “I haven’t been shooting from more than ten days now. Firstly, the track that is going on now focused mainly on Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) and Ashutosh (Sharad Kelkar) and didn’t have anything for me. Moreover, since that was the period when my exams of Masters in Human Development from SNDT University was going on, I had taken an off. This is my second year and it’s a full time course.
