The petite television actress Priyal Gor, better remember with her vivacious stints in Ram Milaye Jodi and Dekha Ek Khwab, says she can’t play a docile bahu or beti anymore.

Priya was last appeared in real-life based reality show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. “I enjoyed it thoroughly. The best part is, unlike a long-playing soap saga, an episodic is more realistic and something that the audience can connect to easily,” said the actress about her experience of shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Sheena Bajaj to feature in an episodic of Gumraah!

Everyone has been acknowledging the good work of spreading awareness amongst youngsters of Channel V‘s Gumraah-The end of innocence, which is being produced by Vikas Gupta‘s Lost Boy Production in association with Balaji Telefilm.

Since its first season, the show is getting rave reviews for their juvenile spine chilling crime stories. And in the coming story, it will feature young and beautiful actress Sheena Bajaj, who is known for work in television and Bollywood industry. She last appeared in Channel V’s youth based show Humse Hai Life and had acted in many movies like Kalyug, Ladies Vs Ricky Behl to name a few. Read more…

Karan Kundra helps fight crime!

 Karan Kundra, the popular host of Gumrah, the TV show which brings to light some real life teen crime cases, recently had a close encounter of the criminal kind. Recently, he was shooting adjacent to the Ghatkopar Railway Station in Mumbai, on the skywalk. The only people accompanying him on that rainy night were the director, cameraman and the attendant.

Just as the director yelled Action, Karan saw a man running towards him, with cops chasing him. When he heard them yelling at the man, he knew that this was a police chase in progress. Karan said, “We got a call from the production team that a lot of top cops were in the vicinity. I realized something was wrong. My cameraman then tried to stop the guy but he was pushed. When the guy was crossing me, I reacted instinctively. Though he threatened to kill me if I tried to stop him, I kicked him and he fell. Within minutes, the cops came, picked him up and took him away.” Read more…

Karan Kundra has no time for love, relationship and friends!

He never imagined he will go this far when he stepped his first foot in the fascinating world of television. Karan Kundra began his career doing acting with Imagine TV’s hit show Kitni Mohabbat Hai and then his career took a turn where he become an anchor, circumstantially.

He is now seen as host of third season of Channel V’s youth-crime show Gumraah-End Of Innocence and revealed that he has also turned producer after solo producing two Punjabi films. Chitrangada Singh is all set to spread awareness through Gumraah!

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh, who has taken the initiative of spreading awareness among youngsters through television show Gumraah- End of Innocence, will see giving the mantra ‘Be Aware, Be Prepared, Be Safe’ on the show.

Channel V’s Gumrah is back with Season 3!

After the roaring success of its first two seasons, Channel V‘s flagship show Gumrah is back for Season 3. Starting 7th July’13, every Sunday at 7pm, the brand new episodes will continue to unravel heinous teen crimes in our society and the circumstances which make criminals out of the youth. Taking a step ahead from the earlier seasons, Season 3 will focus on equipping the youth to avoid being victimized by the criminal elements at large in the society; thus focusing on the thought – “Be Aware, Be Prepared, Be Safe”.

Not only has Gumrah found favour with audiences over two seasons, it also recently won the Best Non-Fiction Show at the prestigious Indian Telly Awards. Unlike other crime shows, by showcasing crimes committed by the youth in our country in a manner that explores the circumstances that led to the crime rather than sensationalizing it, Gumrah tackles bigger issues like peer pressure, the need to fit in, materialism and the dilution of morals, thus initiating a dialogue for the youth to express and address their problems. I’m more popular than other actors on TV and I work on my own terms, says Karan Kundra!

Karan Kundra is one lad from the entertainment industry who seems to have consciously chosen to be different about his choices on TV.

He started off his career playing the lover boy in two seasons of Kitni Mohabbat Hai and later turned the most acclaimed host for Channel V’s Gumraah. He even starred in one of TV’s most controversial shows, The Serial. Speaking of his career graph, Karan said, “I started with fiction in Kitni Mohabbat Hai and then did two more shows with Ekta Kapoor. But then I was offered similar roles on TV, which I wasn’t interested in doing. So, I made a comeback on TV with a very different concept in The Serial, a reality based show.” Read more…

Mouli Ganguly steps into the shoes of Anita Hassanandani for Gumrah!

 Karan Kundra is back as the energetic host of Channel V‘s Gumrah all over again! And this time excitement is double as he has his co-host in the vivacious Chitrangada Singh.

The Season 3 of Gumrah, produced by A Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms will launch on 7 July 2013 at the 7 pm slot on Sunday. The show made into headlines for its interesting casting, with sources talking about Anita Hassanandani  being approached to appear in the very first episode. The famous youth show Gumraah-The End Of Innocence is back to enthrall masses with season 3. The Lost Boy Production is in collaboration with Balaji Telefilms had introduced concept of juvenile crime through Gumraah to its audiences.

And if believe the sources, Bollywood hottie Chitrangada Singh will be hosting the opening episode of the show along with Karan Kundra.  Talking about the new season, Vikas Gupta, producer of The Lost Boy Production said, “Karan is the face of Gumraah, and the show will be incomplete without him. He was busy with his film’s shoot in Punjab, and this is why we decided to shoot the first promo without him. Channel V has come with many changes as far as its programming schedule is concerned. The youth oriented channel that once was limited to music has been recently in talks for the number of youthful shows aired on it.

Shakti Arora to play a druggie called Rambo in Channel V’s Gumraah!

Please don’t get apprehensive if Karan Kundra, the host of Channel V’s Gumraah-End of Innocence, goes missing in the next two episodes of the show. The actor has got stuck with some other work and won’t be able to host two of its episodes. All the respective actors will say something after their scenes.

Now talking about the upcoming story, it will feature a real incident of Drug band. The particular episode will feature actor Shakti Arora along with a newcomer.  Shakti plays a druggie called Rambo who has his own music band. The story revolves around him and another guy called Richard who wants to join Rambo’s band. But Rambo refuses to admit him because he does not want a young Richard to get influenced by drugs and he can see his past in Richard. Read more…
