Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate season 2 to air in installments on Star Plus!

 Aamir Khan’s thought-provoking television series Satyamev Jayate is coming back with its season 2, which is likely to begin from January 2014. The much talked first season that enjoyed much success was initially launched last year, and amongst reports that the second season was to start in the middle of this year, this latest report sure sounds promising.

Turns out, Aamir’s prior work commitment concerning Dhoom 3 had held him back. But knowing him to be the perfectionist he is, we’re sure the show will launch soon. Now latest reports has that season 2 would be different in terms of telecast scheduling. Earlier, the 14 episodes in all that were telecast last season at a stretch, 13 were such that focused on sensitive issues like child abuse, female infanticide, domestic violence, et al and the last being the making of the show. Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate is likely to present UP Police’s initiative!

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is up with second season of social activities based show Satyamev Jayate and reportedly working about the new concepts, actions and issues that he may include in the second inning of his show.

He, few days back, visited the helpline office in Lucknow, for a preliminary shoot. The helpline service is a program called 1090 Women’s Helpline that is run under the guidelines of UP Police. It is learnt that Aamir Khan has expressed his interest to take this initiative to his show. Read more…

Saraswatichandra to air on Doordarshan also!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut TV show Saraswatichandra, which is being aired on Star Plus, certainly is a big one. The launching was a grand one and now it has got another credit to its kitty.

Sources say that after Aamir Khan hosted Satyamev Jayate and Zee TV‘s Ramayan, Saraswatichandra is going to be the next show to be aired on two channels. Buzz states that it is being aired on Star Plus and Doordashan simultaneously. Read more…

Critics might have anything to say about Aamir Khan’s debut TV show Satyamev Jayate, but the latest feat which has come its way proves that Aamir is indeed the man with a golden touch.

Whatever he touches turns to gold and his acts always end up making him win some of the prestigious recognitions. Now what comes as the biggest recognition till date for television’s most influential show, Star India CEO Uday Shankar and screen idol Aamir Khan will be honored by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Government of India, on 18 October. Star Plus’ Lakhon Main Ek fails to garner good TRPs!

After creating a dividing line with a show featuring powerful social themes, Star Plus 2nd launch Lakhon Mein Ek, a series built on Satyamev Jayate’s path, is proving to be a dud.

The show focusing social issues went on airing from 5th August replacing Aamir Khan’s debut show in order to maintain channel’s curriculum. However, it failed to do so. Produced by Big Synergy, the show has been dipping on TRP and ongoing TRP of the show is beneath 1. Though both Ramayan and Lakhon Mein Ek both are good shows and are running at the same time slot 11am on Sundays, Ramayan on Zee TV is way ahead. Read more…

Satyamev Jayate’s 15th August episode ran through the social issue discussed in each episode!

The special Independence Day episode of Aamir Khan’s chat show Satyamev Jayate aired on Wednesday, titled Satyamev Jayate Ka Safar, talks about the response to the show. It was indeed a self-check session or say AAC (After action report), as it was to check whether Satyamev Jayate was really a lasting success, or has the euphoria died down?
