Aamna Shariff gets engaged to film businessman Amit Kapoor!

Bollywood and television actress Aamna Shariff has moved in her life getting engaged with distributor-turned-producer Amit Kapoor a few days ago. It was a very low-profiled ceremony, which was attended by close family members and friends. The duo were in relationship for over a year and decided to get married, said reports.

Aamna, who has done some popular shows like Kahiin Toh Hoga and Hongey Judaa Na Hum, went ahead to try her luck in Bollywood film Aloo Chaat opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Recent buzz states that after getting actors like Iqbal Khan, Sonal Chauhan (she played narrator while promoting her film 3G on the show), Fear Files has now roped in Kishwar Merchant and Vikrant Chaturvedi to feature in their upcoming episodic. It has been in news since long that Sony TV’s much touted venture Honge Judaa Na Hum, that marked Aamna Shariff‘s comeback on the small screen, will soon bite the dust.

And now if believe the buzz then it will have Sanaya Irani starrer Modern Bahoo as its replacement for the 9pm slot. The show by Opitmistix, makers of Saas Bina Sasural, has Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame Sanaya playing the lead and they want to cash on her extreme popularity. Actress Kishwer Merchant has been playing various roles in shows like Amrit Manthan and Channel V’s Best Friends Forever. She will now be seen another of a crucial role in Sony TV’s Hongey Judaa Na Hum!

Aamir Ali has quit FIR!

SAB TV’s cult sitcom FIR will miss its rustic police inspector Bajrang Pandey played by Aamir Ali. The actor, who worked nearly a year in the show, has quit the show and informed his fans by tweeting on micro-blobbing site.

“I will miss being on the sets of F.I.R, but my wishes and love is always going to be present. Keep watching F.I.R every Saturday,” Aamir tweeted on Thursday. Read more…

Sony TV puts Hongey Judaa Na Hum under the scanner!

Launched with much hype and hoopla, Sony TV’s daily soap Hongey Judaa Na Hum starring two popular personalities Aamna Shariff and Raqesh Vashisth has failed to garner viewership and reportedly the channel has decided to place it under the scanner board.

The show is about two lovers who lost their memories during an accident, after a year of time both meet again but fail to recognize each other. Here the twist and turn began which were supposed to captivate masses. But that is not happening actually.
