Telly actor Jatin Shah, who last done a full-fledged role in Bairi Piya, is nowadays seen in shows like Crime Patrol and Savdaan India, and if go by his words, then it seems that he is quite content with where he is headed.

Soon, he will be seen in one more episodic of popular Life OK’s crime based show. “I can’t reveal much about it, but in this episodic I will support a family which fights back. This episode will mark the start of a new season ‘Family fights back’ instead of ‘India fights back’.” Read more…

Crime Patrol to bring Nirbhaya’s case on screen!

Sony TV’s real-life crime based show Crime Patrol will soon bring an episode on the December 16 Delhi gang-rape. According to the sources, the makers of the show were planning to showcase this brutal gang-rape case to the audience to bring awareness, but they were waiting for the final verdict in the case to be out.

A source said, “The verdict is out, so the channel is planning to air the episode, and will also include the fact that the accused have been convicted. Earlier, the channel was restrained from airing the episode by the BCCC (Broadcasting Content Complaints Council) till the verdict was given. Prior to BCCC, the I&B Ministry had informally asked the channel to not air the episode,” reported sources. Read more…

Pranauti Pradhan to be seen in Crime Patrol-Dastak!

Sony TV’s Crime Patrol-Dastak is one of the most liked shows on the small screen as it never fails to enchant audience’s hearts with its heart touching true crime stories. In an attempt to keep the interest intact, the makers of the show keep on featuring known faces in their episodics.

Latest the sources claim is that TV actress Pranauti Pradhan, who last featured in Life OK’s Zindagi Kahey Smile Please, is set to be seen in the upcoming episode of the show. Episodic stories are quite hit among the TV actors as they give them the creative satisfaction owing to the different manner in which they are shot as compared to a daily show. And this is what makes actor Bharat Chawda so fond of episodic stories.

The actor, who was recently seen in episodics of Savdhan India on Life OK, The Haunted Nights on Sahara One and Crime Patrol on Sony, is soon to be seen in Optimystix produced Crime Patrol. The story featuring Bharat is based in Dehradun and is about a father killing his daughter brutally, with the doubts of murder hovering around someone else. Bharat, who essays the role of the son-in-law, will be the prime suspect for whatever his father-in-law has done. Delhi High Court stops Crime Patrol from airing Om Prakash Chautala’s scam!

Om Prakash Chautala has been in controversies for the illegal recruitment of teachers in the year 2000. The former CM of Haryana was also sent to jail last month along with his son and several others for 10 years imprisonment.

Well, the latest on the scam is that the show on Sony hosted by Anup Soni, Crime Patrol was about to air an episode on the scam, but the Delhi High Court has ordered the makers not to air the episode and wait for the final hearing on the case. Read more…
