Manit Joura, who is best remember for his outstanding performance in Star PlusKhamoshiyaan, will soon play super villain in Firework‘s Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath.

The fictional crime series aired on Life OK is currently the numero uno show on the channel and the on-going super cops’ v/s super villain series has been appreciated by the audience. An actor by profession Mohit Sehgal is a cook by his choice. He loves cooking and does in free time. His girl-friend Sanaya Irani, whom he already have impressed by his delicious yet healthy food, compliments him saying his cooking is always better than outside.

Mohit, seen in shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum and male protagonist of Mujhse Kuchh Kehti Yeh Khamoshiyaan, says his hobby keeps him busy. “Cooking is my hobby and I keep on cooking at my home. I am making healthy stuff for myself. I like to try out new things; if I go out in a restaurant and have something new, then I try to prepare that dish at home. I like homemade food because they are healthy as you can prepare it in your own way like with less sugar, less fat, etc.” Read more…

Manit Joura to be seen as a schizophrenic in Colors’ next!

It seems that history is all set to repeat itself once again on Indian Television as Ila Bedi Dutta’s Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd and Colors will bring to life a schizophrenic character playing lead in one of their upcoming shows.

As reported earlier too, Colors is set to re-start its afternoon band and Vibhuti, produced by Trilogy Media Pvt Ltd., will be the slot leader in terms of concept. Manit Joura and rookie actress Farnaaz Shetty have been roped in as leads. Producer Ila recently talked high about the show and called it an “interesting” story being based out in Ujjain. Read more…

Mrunal Thakur to enter Arjun!

Post the closure of Kuch Keheti Hai Yeh Khamoshiyan, Mrunal Thakur was looking forward to explore a different genre. And it seems her wish has been granted by Star Plus, as she got signed for its popular action show Arjun. The crime fiction show is being produced by 4 Lions Films production and airs on week-end days.

Buzz has it that Mrunal is going to be the new female lead that will essay a crime/investigative journalist. She will act as a secret agent and help the ETF team to solve criminal cases. Mrunal is excited about the show and will start its shooting very soon. She says, “I am grateful to the channel for the faith that they have shown in me and giving an opportunity to prove myself through a very different genre show like Arjun.” Read more…

The daily soap Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyan, which started off on a very good note on Star Plus seems to have failed in giving the viewers what they were looking for. The show has finally come to an end and sources hear that the lead actors of the show Mrunal Thakur and Manit Joura have grown fond of each other during this while and are having a hard time leaving the show.

According to the grapevines, there is one thing that the lead actors of the show share and that is they are both fond of each other. It was so much that they set their schedule according to each other and used to come to the set and leave at the same time. Additional information to spice things up is that the two actors are from the same acting school and Mrunal found a teacher in Manit during Khamoshiyan. Read more…

Falaq Naaz to feature in Life OK’s Savdhaan India-India Fights Back!

It was in news of late that TV and film actor Vindu Dara Singh has turned producer for Life OK‘s Savdhaan India-India Fights Back. Now the latest update says that renowned Director-Producer Sunil Agnihotri will now team up with Vindu Dara Singh for the project.

The episodes, set to hit the airwaves within few weeks, seem to have been already shot. As per a source, “The producers have started working on the episodes and one of the episodes has already been shot in scenic beauty of Shimla. Actress Falaq Naaz, last seen in Trilgogy Krikoi‘s Khamoshiyan on Star Plus will feature in the episode which was shot in Shimla.” Read more…

Shakti Anand and Sai Deodhar to produce regional films!

TV couple Shakti Anand and Sai Deodhar forayed into production business with Khamoshiyan; the first production of Thoughtrain Entertainment – owned them. Sadly, despite being launched amidst great pomp and show, it fell flat and is now going off air on February 23.

However, this hasn’t saddened the producer couple as they are heading for a new venture. Buzz states that Sai and Shakti have signed a three film deal with Select Media. All the three films will be regional. The first and second films are Marathi films and will have Marathi actors only. “After seeing the response to the first two films, we might decide to make the third film a Bengali, Punjabi or even small budget Hindi film. The first film is an out and out mad comedy. The script etc is locked, but the cast hasn’t been fixed yet. The other one will be a youth comedy,” Shakti said, adding that they are also pitching another serial to a channel. Read more…
