Priyal Gor likely to feature in Endemol India’s next!

The petite actress Priyal Gor has come a long way doing her tele-stints. Her small screen stint started off with a daily soap, Ram Milaye Jodi followed by Dekha Ek Khwab. Post DEK, Priyal took a short break and marked her telly comeback in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.

Now, latest has that she is approached to play main lead role in Endemol India‘s upcoming fiction show for Star Plus. “Priyal has been approached to play the lead role in the show. The show which is tentatively titled Hospital has been in the making since quite some time now. However, the makers of the show have started working on the show again and they have shortlisted Priyal for the lead role,” said sources. Read more…

Angad Hasija speaks about the controversy linked with Savitri!

Angad Hasija recently made into the news headlines owing to his sudden ouster from the show Savitri on Life OK. Angad stated that he was not happy with how his role had shaped while channel shared that his was not a main lead but still a prominent role.

Whatsoever, Angad has moved on in life and says, “I have been offered two shows – one on Sony and one on Zee. While one is an ongoing show, the other is a new show but both are main leads”. Speaking on the recent controversy about Savitri on Life OK, Angad shared, “When I was offered Savitri, I also had an offer from Bigg Boss Season 6 which I had to decline. I was told that my role and the serial would become big names in the Television industry which never happened. I was not given a Minimum Guarantee (MG) which is basically a payment guarantee so even if an actor doesn’t shoot for the show he gets paid. I was at a loss because of this as I shot for only 15 days in three months (October, November, December) and then not a single day in January and only one day in February.” Read more…

Zee TV’s Ram Milaayi Jodi actor Manit Joura says he is choosy about his roles because he has struggled a lot to get to where he is.

Handsome television star Angad Hasija has always yarn-dyed the audience with his fabulous performance. This lad debuted on television playing the complex role of a psychotic person in Star Plus’ popular show Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai.

Now, the actor is waiting for some epic or very imposing character that is challenging to play. On being asked about his choice of characters and wants to do next on television, Angad shared his notion and said, “I do not want to be part of love triangles and the shows that have nothing new to offer. Take for example my role in Phulwa, Shankar was a very different character. And in Ram Milaayi Jodi too, I played a role that I had never played before. Angad Hasija is enjoying the free space!

He always manages to bag praises in whatever he does, be it his act in Star Plus’ Bidaai, Colors’ Phulwa or the most recent one as Aditya in Ram Milaayi Jodi, Angad Hasija has always got his fans’ love and admiration.

As known, Ram Milaayi Jodi has bid an adieu to its fans and went off air a day before. Talking of the show and his stint, Angad said, “We shot for the last episode on 8 April (2012) and everyone got pretty emotional on the sets. The show has been on air for quite some time but I was a part of it for only five to six months. But in this short span of time, I really gelled well with everyone. Ram Milaayi Jodi extended till April 10, 2012!

In the recent past it was made known to all TV buffs that Magic Lantern Productions’ Ram Milaayi Jodi aired on Zee TV will bid adieu to its ardent fans on March 30, 2012.

However, as per the recent buzz, the show has got an extension and will now see its end on April 10, 2012. Though it isn’t much a relief but the makers are happy that they will at least get the due time frame to wrap up things in a more logical way rather than ending abruptly. Read more…
