I am cloud nine after doing Ram Leela, says Sharad Kelkar!

Telly fame Sharad Kelkar with shows like Saat Phere and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, was definitely a surprise for the audience who went to see Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. He played a remarkable role Kanjibhai, Deepika’s elder brother, who is very protected about his sister.

Speaking about his role, Sharad said, “I have played the role of Kanjibhai who is Supriya Pathak‘s son and Deepika Padukone’s brother. My character of Kanjibhai is that of a mafia person and is an extremely powerful man. He has all the authority to do whatever he wishes to as he is the only son in the family. He has various shades to his character; loving husband but at the same time plays a high end mafia role. Kanjibhai’s character is a very self-esteemed role.” Read more…

Prem is a nice guy who is totally devoted to his family, says Dheeraj Dhoopar!

Dheeraj Dhoopar, who replaced Shoaib Ibrahim as Prem in ColorsSasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Telefilms) is happy with the way viewers have responded.

An elated Dheeraj said, “I am getting a good feedback. I accept that it is tough to play a character which has been played by someone else for quite some time. Having said this, what matters at the end is the character”. Speaking how much he struggled to get into the character, he shared, “First of all, I am trying to understand him holistically. I have managed to do that to a great extent and will now play the role of Prem in my own style. Prem is a nice guy who is totally devoted to his family. I want to play Daayan someday, asserts Kritika Kamra!

 Kritika Kamra, who will soon be seen in Ekta Kapoor‘s supernatural series Ek Thi Naayika, a promotional television series for film Ek Thi Daayan, says she wants to play negative character on small screen.

“I want to play a Daayan some day, I think that will be really interesting and exciting to try out. Also it will be a big challenge for me and I would definitely want to challenge myself,” said Kritika who was introduced on television by Ekta Kapoor through youth show Kitni Mohabbat Hai. It is well known to all that Sony‘s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is wrapping up as the lead actress Kritika Kamra wanted a break and the channel and producers gave in before her wish.

Meanwhile, Sharad Kelkar, who plays the main lead opposite Kritika, says that this news did come to him as a shock. He said, “Very honestly, it was a shock. There was nothing hidden and Rajanji (producer Rajan Shahi) himself told us that Kritika wanted a break and that’s the reason the serial was going off-air. Everyone was ok with it but the date came as a shocker. We had thought that the show will continue post IPL as we had the contract till June”. Read more…

 Kritika Kamra has suddenly turned the talk of town, courtesy the shutting down of her show on Sony TV, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. As reported earlier too, this Rajan Shahi show is bidding adieu to all its fans as lead actress Kritika is willing to take a break.

It is notable that Kritika too confirmed the same stating that she has been working since quite some time and now needs a break. Meanwhile, it is to note that Kritika became popular as Arohi as she played the part in Ekta Kapoor’s Kitni Mohabbat Hai. Rukhsar Rehman’s father passes away!

The actress, who was last seen in the show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Rukhsar Rehman has recently suffered a heavy personal loss. The actress was out of the town few days back, and sources know it now that she had lost her father on the 20th of February.

She said, “It was a sudden death. My dad who was an IAS officer, aged 73 was not ill. The whole thing happened in 15 minutes.” This year has been quite tough for the actress as she lost her grandfather and mother earlier. She said, “Having parents around is the best thing that can happen to anyone. Losing both of them is a big blow. I have just got back from my home town after my dad expired. I plan to resume work soon. I have got an ad campaign to shoot. Initially, I thought of postponing it as I was not in a proper mental state, but then I decided to go ahead with it as work will help me come out of depression.” Read more…
