Not Sanskaar but a new Sony TV’s show for Krystle D’Souza!

Recently it was reported that Krystle D’Souza, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai fame, is being roped in to play the female lead in Colors’ Sanskaar, which has begin with its second season. But latest news says that Krystle has been dropped out from the role, while a newbie Tejasvi Welingkar has been signed to play lead Dhara in Sanskaar, aired 7pm from Monday to Saturday.

But it doesn’t mean that it was the last opportunity Krystle has missed because the girl is flooded with offers coming her way from many producers. If buzz has to be believed, she has been offered the lead role in Jay Mehta and Kinnari Mehta’s upcoming show, based on women empowerment, for Sony Entertainment Television. The producers have also approached telly actors like Smita Jaykar, Padmini Kolhapure, Deblina Chatterjee and Karan Sharma to play key roles on the show. Tejasvi Welingker said that she gave 20 takes for her first shot in 26-12!

The all new show on Life OK 26-12, which is based on the 26/11 crime and the black day that haunts us till now that had many innocent killed, has a new face in it. The lead role in the show will be played by Tejasvi Welingker. She is very happy to have bagged the role.

Tejasvi said, “I am quite lucky to get to play a young girl of my age. Also, the theme is not like your daily saas bahu shows, rather, it focuses on the ugly scourge of terrorism. I am quite sure that many people will identify with the loss that my character Rashmi goes through after she loses her father and brother in train blasts. This changes her entire life.” Read more…
