Star Plus’ Veera to witness Kolkata boy Vishal Vashishtha playing grown-up Baldev!

Star Plus’ adorable show Veer, produced by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik, has been running well post its generation leap. The new young actors, Digangana Suryavanshi as Veera and Shivin Narang as Ranvijay, has been accepted by audience with open arms and now it is reported that Veera will soon see a new actor joining its team.

The makers have finalised Kolkata actor Vishal Vashishtha, was earlier seen in Crazy Stupid Ishq as the main lead, to play grown-up Baldev. He will play negative character. Read more…


Meet the grown-up in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera!

It has already been informed that the Star Plus’ show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera is all set to take the leap of 15 years, and the senior actors are set to make their way with child artists Bhavesh Balchandani and Harshita Ojha being replaced by younger lot Shivin Narang and Digangana Suryavanshi.

The show airs on weekdays at 10.30 pm, will take a time leap on November 25. It is the story of strong bond between a brother and sister. The 16-year-old Digangana, says, “I am an only child and I have found the brother I never had in Shivin. The equation seems to have transcended to real life.” Read more…

Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera will soon take a time-leap of 15 years!

The fans of Star Plus’ adorable show Veer Ki Ardaas Veera will soon be treated with a time-leap of 15 years where its lead characters Veera and Ranveer, currently played by Harshita Ojha and Bhavesh Balchandani respectively, will take a step in adolescent age group.

And to play their adult characters, the makers are busy in auditioning several actors. If buzz has to be believe, young actress Digangana Suryavanshi has been finalised for the title role of Veera and Shivin Narang, last seen in Channel V’s Suvreen Guggal Topper Of The Year, has been roped in to play her brother Ranvijay Singh. Suvreen Guggal might go off air in November!

Channel V’s youth show Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year, produced by Four Lions might bid adieu to its loyal viewers this November. The show, which earlier received immense popularity amongst youngsters thanks to its appealing and realistic storyline, is currently dropping on the TRP board after lacking its original theme and this turned to be the reason of its going off air.

As per the sources close to the channel it is revealed that the show has nothing new to present in the story and moreover its leading lady Smiriti Kalra is also leaving the show.  “The show might be pulled off-air in November because there is nothing new to showcase in the story anymore and the protagonist of the show Smiriti Kalra is also leaving the show as she wants to take a break. The team might have their last day of shoot on 15th November,” informed sources. Read more…

Suvreen Guggal will see a dramatic end to season 1!

Season 2 of Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year (4 Lions Films) on Channel [V] is all set to go on air from 8 April 2013. And before that season one is to see a dramatic climax.

Sources say that Suvreen (Smriti Kalra) will have a showdown with almost everyone and she will make up her mind to move on in pursuit of her dreams. She will first have a major fight with her dad (Akshay Anand) when he gets to know of Suvreen’s Valentine escapade with Yuvraj (Shivin Narang). Suvreen Guggal of Channel V has successfully completed 200 episodes!

Channel V’s one of the popular youth shows Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year, produced by Four Lions Production successfully completed 200 episodes on March 5, 2013.

The entire team is elated over the achievement and celebrated their winning day by cutting a cake on the sets. An excited Shivin Narang who plays male protagonist Yuvraj said, “The journey of 200 episodes has been very good and I have always felt like I am still enjoying my college days.
