Television actress Karishma Tanna, who is now called as Bollywood actress, as she is making her B-town debut with multi-starrer comedy film Grand Masti, says it is difficult for small screen actor to break their stereotype image and establish an identity in films.

“It is very difficult for us to establish identity in films. It is not easy to break through your stereotype image from television and form a new identity on the big screen. Although trends have changed, more and more TV actors are trying to get into films and are even being successful,” said Karishma, who has done some hit shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand. Bharti Singh to make a cameo appearance in Baal Veer!

Bharti Singh, the only female stand-up comedian in television history, who has showcased stints as an actor, dancer, comedian and singer on TV screen, is now set to enthrall her young fans making cameo appearance in SAB TV’s fictional show Baal Veer.

Here is new revelation making way from the popular kids show Baal Veer. The fictional show will soon have a new face of Shruti Seth, who is going to replace Karishma Tanna’s role of Rani Pari.

The beautiful actress, known for her stints in comedy show Shararat, has already started shooting for the same and will be seen in same costume of Karishma Tanna. Shruti confirmed the track and said, “Yes, I’m going to enter the show Baal Veer as Rani Pari, for which I have already started shooting. My character Rani Pari is the same as played by Karishma Tanna, therefore you’ll see me in the same look.” Read more…

It’s Holi celebration time for Baal Veer!

Optimystix‘s Baal Veer aired on SAB TV has been currently witnessing a lot of drama with the swapping of Pari Tara and the missing of Rani pari (Karishma Tanna). The kids and all the paris in Parilok are worried and sad for the missing pari.

However, soon festivity will begin in Parilok as Holi is to be celebrated with lots of color. The funniest Jodi of Star Plus’ popular dance reality show Nach Baliye, Rahul Mahajan and wife Dimpy Mahajan are climbing high into the competition. The politician-turned-dancer Rahul says he agreed to be a part of it as he had nothing to lose.

“I had nothing to lose. I wasn’t even a big dancer and so I was not scared of losing the competition. Everything was a plus for me, so I didn`t hesitate (to participate in the show),” the 38-year-old said during their recent visit in Delhi. Read more…

SAB TV‘s new debutant Baal Veer, which went on air from September 17, has marked the return of Karishma Tanna to daily soaps. In the show she is playing head of Pari Lok, and critics are also appreciating her work.

She is getting popular in kids, who love her for her magical powers. In the show, she has all the combined powers of the fairies, she can do anything she wishes and at a wave of her magical wand. Despite being authoritative, Rani Pari is also sweet and simple. Karishma explains, “As I am a Rani Pari I have to be authoritative and dominating. Comic caper SAB TV is loaded with its two new ventures, Jeanie Aur Juju, which marks the comeback of Giaa Maanek and second show is Waah Waah Kya Baat Hai, which is a gift for all the literature lovers.

The latest update states that SAB TV is all geared for its third venture, which is tentatively titled as Baal Veer. Talking about the show, it is loosely based on SAB TV’s previous shows like Gilli Gilli Gappa and Ring Wrong Ring.
