It seems Life OK’s mythological show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which stars TV heartthrob Mohit Raina as Lord Shiva, has lost its charm. Earlier it was reported that the channel is not getting good TRPs from the show and now it is said that its actors are quitting the show.

Puja Banerjee who portrays the role of Lord Parvati is said to have quit the show owning some health issues. Interestingly, Puja was featured in the show after replacing popular actress Sonarika Bhadoria. She played the character for four months only. But unlike Sonarika, who was shown the door citing some payment issues, the actress herself has decided to quit the show. Read more…

There was a time when Life OK’s mythological show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev was ruling on the roots of TRP board. Thanks to the lead actors like Sonarika Bhadoria  who played Parvati and Mohit Raina who is still playing the Mahadev’s role. But since the day Sonarika left the show citing her remuneration issues, the show has seen a fall in its TRPs.

While other side, Sonarika has constantly been getting offers from many other producers to play similar kind of roles. She informs that she was approached to play the lead role of Yashodhara in the Zee TV show Buddha, but she refused as she didn’t want to play role in mythological dailies. Read more…

After tasting success in a short span of time in small screen industry playing two powerful roles, Abhilasha in debut show Tum Dena Saath Mera and Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, both on Life OK channel, beautiful actress Sonarika Bhadoria is now gearing up to kick-start in B-town.

She is getting number of film offers from Bollywood, but neither one is a kind that she would want to debut with. She said, “I was getting offers while I was playing Parvati too. But even after I quit the show and moved on to focus on films, I got offers to play bold roles which required kissing, doing intimate scenes and wearing bikini on the screen.” Read more…

Beautiful Sonarika Bhadoria, who stuck gold with her portrayal of Parvati in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, is the recent example of the above saying. Her deeds on the sets made the makers replace her. She was reportedly showing high tantrums and unprofessionalism on the sets.

According to the sources it is informed that, “Despite being a newcomer, Sonarika often complaint about the star treatment that her co-star Mohit Raina (Lord Shiva) received. The production house did all their bit to keep Sonarika happy however her growing tantrums has left the production house with no other option but to show her the door.” Read more…

TV actor Sonarika Bhadoria, who has now become a household name all thanks to her act as Parvati in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, feels she has not changed a bit while playing this divine role.

Speaking to the sources, Sonarika said, “Before Mahadev I was not any less spiritual but I have become a devotional person after this. I have always been a very spiritual person and like any other normal person I also believe in prayers and God. It’s the other way round, once I have started doing television people who never used to give me attention started calling. Even my family is getting extra attention from them. Sonarika Bhadoria is topping the chart of popularity on small screen living the larger than life role of Parvati in Life OK‘s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. She is certainly undergoing the golden phase of her life.

But if go by the confession made by the lady of late, she had once made her mind to quit TV. It is notable that Sonarika made a fair start with Life OK’s Tum Dena Saath Mera. Life OK is said to be bringing out its popular mythological saga Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on limited edition DVDs. It is notable that the refreshing narration, compelling storyline and brilliant graphics have made Mahadev a leading name amidst all other mythological tales.

The limited edition DVD set, brought out in association with Ultra, was unveiled by Mr. Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India in Mumbai on Monday. Producer Nikhil Sinha and Suhana Sinha recently arranged for a glittering bash at Rare Valley Farms in Vasai in order to celebrate the successful completion of three hundred episodes of the no. 1 show on Life OkDevon Ke Dev… Mahadev.

The cast and crew, including Mohit Raina, Sonarika Bhadoria, Mouni Roy, Sadhil Kapoor, Jiten Lalwani, Pankaj Kalra, Charu Asopa and R.K. Dutta had a gala time at the barbeque party as they beat the chill with warmth of friendship, food and fun. Parvati to take Maa Durga’s avatar to kill Mahishasur in Mahadev!

The mythological character of Durga Maa, who is depicted with multiple (variously, up to eighteen) arms, carrying various weapons and riding a ferocious lion or tiger, is the next character (avatar) entering in Life OK’s popular show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. The show is being produced by Triangle Film Company.

According to the epic, Maa Durga was created as a warrior goddess to fight an asura (an inhuman force/demon) named Mahishasura. Brahma had given Mahishasura the power not to be defeated by a male. Mahishasura had unleashed a reign of terror on earth, heaven and the nether worlds, and he could not be defeated by any man or god, anywhere. The gods were helpless. Shiva, realizing that no man or god (male) can defeat Mahishasura, made a request to his wife Parvati to take the role of a female goddess warrior in order to slay the demon. Read more…
