A story which begun with a theme, marriage is difficult to be happened at an older age, has gone some other way in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The original lead pair, Ram Kapoor aka Ram and Sakshi Tanwar aka Priya, has taken back stage in the story that is now leading with full of drama around their adult kids.

Of late, one could notice a love triangle is paving way to a lot of drama in the life of Pihu (Sonia Balani), Sammy (Yuvraj Thakur) and Suhani (Ekta Kaul). Jee Le Zara and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain to have an integration episode on Sony TV!

Sony TV is coming up with an innovative theme that will see its two popular shows, Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zara (Rose Audio Visual’s Pvt Ltd) and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Balaji Telefilms), emerging together. The shows are set to have an integration episode on 6 December.

According to the unit sources, “Yes, the cast of both the shows will come together for a party sequence on BALH and have a great time. The party will be on the occasion of Pihu’s (Sonia Balani) birthday and will see a grand celebration in the Kapoor family.” Read more…

I never quit TV for films, says Ram Kapoor!

The man who is enjoying best of both worlds, television and Bollywood, Ram Kapoor says he will never quit TV and his show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Recently at the celebration of BALH completing 500 episodes, the talented actor looked happy with pride as he cut the cake with his co-actors on the sets.

Speaking about the feat he said, “It always feels great to work with such a great team and with new actors joining us, the fun just doubles up.” When sources quizzed whether he will leave TV for films, the much adored actor said, “I will never leave BALH come what may. I will be seen on TV till the show is on air. After that I haven’t given a thought whether I will do TV or will do it after a break but right now BALH has my loyalty sealed.” Read more…

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain completes 500 episodes!

Producer Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilm, the show family show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has touched the milestone of completing 500 episodes. It had started in May 2011 as the story of a 40-plus businessman played by Ram Kapoor and a 30-plus woman played by Sakshi Tanwar, who despite different personalities discovers love after they marry.

The show is synonymous with taking leaps. The story has already taken three leaps, covering several years in one go, so far. Its latest leap is over seven years. It has witnessed a lot of ups and downs in the lives of its protagonists and their family members. The current track shows Priya in coma, and Ram is trying to bring her back to normalcy. Another character in focus is their on-screen daughter Pihu, essayed by Akshita Kapoor. The show will now see Pihu turn into a negative character. Read more…

Post the closing of Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, lead actress Niaa Sharma, who played adorable character of Maanvi, has spent her break time with family in Delhi. She enjoyed her free time but now she is back to her work and is looking out for a project which will mark her comeback on television.

Niaa was recently approached for the vital role of Pihu in Ekta Kapoor’s famous show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, but she turned it down owing to certain reasons. The petite and perky actress explained her reason on the same, “Yes, I was approached by the makers for the role of Pihu, but I did not take it up. I don’t want to do any ongoing show; I am keen on taking up fresh projects. And talking about Bade Achhe, the show is all about Ram and Priya. The crux of the story revolves around them. Best Friends Forever fame, beautiful and talented Fenil Umrigar has joined Sony TV’s popular show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain as grownup Pihu and says she will play a bubbly, cheerful, arrogant, aggressive, role in the show. She believes that audiences will be able to relate to her character.

The young actress has done shows like Maryada Lekin Kab Tak and Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava. About her new role, she said, “If you watch the show, you will see that Pihu is like any other 23-year-old girl. She is bubbly, aggressive and she also sometimes tends to show the motherly care towards her two younger sisters. So, the audience will be able to relate to my character.” Read more…

Sakshi Tanwar denied the role of a prostitute!

There are sort of roles, which many glam actresses hesitate to take up. And it seems Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame, Sakshi Tanwar is also from those actresses, as she recently denied doing a role of prostitute, offered by filmmaker Ankush Bhatt. The director, who wants to make a film dealing with the issue of prostitution and human trafficking, had approached the TV actress, but he returned empty hand.

If sources are to be believed, Sakshi was even not comfortable to listening the storyline and the project theme. “She did not even discuss the storyline before rejecting the offer,” said sources. It is reported that the actress has already done a film Mohalla Assi with Sunny Deol, which is yet to release in cinema. Read more…

Aditya Kapadia bags a vital role in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain!

Television artist Aditya Kapadia, who is known for his stints in kids shows and was also seen in family show Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum, is reportedly finalized to play grown-up Khush Vikram-Neha‘s son in Sony Entertainment Television popular show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which is being produced by Balaji Telefilm.

He will make his entry on the show post the much talked generation leap of seven years. Presently, Rohan Shah of Hum Se Hain Life fame has been playing the role of Khush, but post leap Aditya Kapadia will replace him. “Khush will be shown as the best friend of Pihu and the grownup character will be played Aditya Kapadia,” confirmed sources.
