Having a decent story line, fresh performers like Aditya (Nakuul Mehta) and Pankhuri (Disha Parmar), and most importantly away from other saas-bahu diplomatic dramas, Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, helmed by popular production house Rajshri Productions, has successfully completed one year on small screen world now.

The show, which went on air on June 18, 2012, completed 276 episodes on June 18, 2013. It has delivered decent TRPs to the channel and maintains a certain viewership. It began with a story where Aditya had no faith in the institute of marriage and relationships because of his parent’s separation, but gradually fell in love with Pankhuri who had the opposite ideology about marriage. Recently there were reports that Sony TV’s family soap Bade Acche Lagte Hain will witness the death sequence of Kartik (Chirag Thakkar). However, latest updates state that Kartik, who is currently been admitted in hospital after being shot by cop, will recover and survive.

So far we have seen Kartik along with his one year old son was hiding himself from cop and his sister Priya (Sakshi Tanwar), who is nine months pregnant.
