Fire caught the sets of SAB TV’s comedy show FIR!

A scary development seen on the sets of SAB TV’s comedy show FIR that was caught by fire. It seems the leading TV shows of small screen to be vulnerable to fire mishaps for some time now. Post Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai and Comedy Nights with Kapil, its FIR that caught by major fire. Thankfully no one is hurt in the accident.

Kavita Kaushik, lead character Chandramukhi Chautala of the show, about the mishap said, “It was a massive fire outburst on our sets but with God’s grace no one is injured. We give full marks to our sets and 5 stars for being so well equipped. There were huge fire extinguishers on the sets which were used and thus our set was saved from turning into ashes.” Read more…

Kavita Kaushik set to give tribute to Madhuri Dixit!

The annual extravaganza to celebrate Diwali on SAB TV channel will witness some of the sizzling, powerful and surprising performances by actors from the shows of the channel. Telly favorite Kavita Kaushik, who is well-known for her valiant stints in SAB TV’s comedy show FIR, will perform on Madhuri Dixit‘s hit number Ghagra from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

And this performance is not going to be as simple as that but Kavita would be seen wearing a ghagra that is lit up with sparkling LED lights. Kavita, who feels proud to perform on the song of Madhuri, said that her act is a tribute to the dhak dhak girl. Read more…

Kiku Sharda will be back in FIR!

Good news for the fans of comedian Kiku Sharda, who is currently seen tickling down the funny bones of everyone as Palak in Comedy Nights With Kapil. He is coming back to his old stints as Gulgule in SAB TV’s highly popular comedy show FIR, which stars Kavita Kaushik as Chandramukhi Chautala. He will return to his old role as constable Gulgule, who used to irritate his senior inspector Chandramukhi and in return gets a numbers of slaps each time.

Kiku, also seen in Sony TV’s Comedy Circus confirmed his comeback to FIR saying, “I have been a part of FIR for seven years. We took a short break and now I am soon going to return to the show. I will be playing the same character, Gulgule, and will showcase the same chemistry with Chandramukhi Chautala. I will be the same chirpy and foodie guy.” Read more…

Vipul Roy started shooting for F.I.R as inspector Bhola Pandit!

Television host-turned-actor Vipul Roy, who is assigned to play male lead in SAB TV’s sitcom show F.I.R, has kick-started shooting and says his has done some high-octane stunts for his entry episode. As seen in the last episodes Kavita Kaushik aka Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala is fighting against crime in Rawanpur, Vipul, who will play senior inspector Bhola Pandit will come to join Ms. Chautala and help her to solve miscellaneous cases.

According to the reports, Bhola Pandit will tackle a case of harassment, where a girl being harassed by some goons on his very first day in Rawanpur. “Refusing to be a mute witness, he will thrash the offenders and also console the sobbing girl. The police officer will also be seen urging the girl to fight back. But, Bhola’s courageous act goes unnoticed as he gets slapped by Chandramukhi, who mistakes him to be the offender,” confirmed sources. Read more…

Vipul Roy to carry forward the role of Bajrang Pandey in FIR!

Each character on SAB TV’s comedy show F.I.R is unique and they are all USP of the show. And to maintain the fever the makers have never been seen compromising with the actors they are approaching and casting in. For the role of male lead Bajrang Pandey, which earlier was played by Aamir Ali, they have gone for a rigorous nationwide hunt and finally landed roped in Vipul Roy.

So now, actress Kavita Kaushik, a feisty cop Chandramukhi Chautala, will finally have a guy opposite her in Vipul Roy, who has done shows like Salaam Zindagi and suspense-thriller Chehra. FIR made me a better and mature actor, says Aamir Ali!

Television heartthrob Aamir Ali, who plays the entertaining inspector Bajrang Pandey on SAB TV’s FIR, said that this show has changed his acting perception and helped him open his veiled talent. He said, initially he believed that he could carry off a comic character well but his role made him a better and mature actor.

“I could never imagine doing a comedy show, but FIR changed my thought. FIR made me a better actor as it opened me up. I still have a long way to go, but FIR made a big difference. The director and unit were so good, they made me feel comfortable. They had faith in me. I didn’t have faith in myself. They appreciated me,” said Aamir, who previously had performed only in daily soap genre. Read more…

Undoubtedly, the comeback of Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala sees a visible rise in TRPs and viewership of SAB TV’s long running and most liked show FIR.

Chandramukhi Chautala goes Chinese way to solve a difficult case!

It seems both fascinating worlds- Television and Bollywood are very much influenced by Chinese culture and tradition, dressing and make-up, costume and style trends. Even China town has played an important role while raising the quotient of entertainment in films and daily soaps.

Kiku Sharda to return on FIR with Kavita Kaushik!

The fiery and feisty Chandramukhi Chautala, portrayed by Kavita Kaushik is back on the tube and now SAB TV’s seven year old show FIR is ready to dole out the best entertainment wrapping with loads of gag event for its loyal audience.

Latest is that the very popular Kiku Sharda, better known as Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule is also making his way back in the show after Kavita’s entry. He dropped from FIR when the story moved 20 years ahead in time and Kavita Kaushik’s character came to an end. Now that the story is again going back to 20 years in time, Kiku is back with a bang. According to the sources, “Gopi (Gopi Bhalla) had been dreaming all this while and he finally wakes up to only get back to the real world with Chandramukhi Chautala around him. However, Kiku’s entry will be aired sometime in August as the actor hasn’t begun shooting yet.” Read more…

I made Khaki uniform glamorous, feels Kavita Kaushik!

Tall and talented Kavita Kaushik is back to her much suited work of police cop as Chandramukhi Chautala in SAB TV’s sitcom show FIR. She made her exit from her show Tota Aur Maina to return as a lead in FIR after replacing actress Chitrashi Rawat, who was assigned to take place of Kavita.

Talking about her popular character, she said it was much before Salman Khan in Dabangg and Ajay Devgn in Singham, when she glamorized Khaki uniform on the small screen.“For seven years, Chandramukhi Chautala made the audience laugh with her fearless nature and perfect comic timing. My character in the show made the audience realise that the police station is not a boring plac. It was way before films like Dabanng and Singham came. I was the one who made khaki uniform glamorous and sexy before Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn did,” said Kavita, who took a break from the show three months ago. Read more…

Dhamakedaar re-entry of Kavita Kaushik in FIR!

Everyone’s favorite Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik is all set to make her re-entry on SAB TV’s sitcom show FIR.

She had quitted the show earlier this year after being a key part of it for seven years. However, she is all kicked and excited to restore all the missing fun and masti on FIR for her loyal fan-following. She said, “I feel like I’ve come back to my friends. In fact, everyone around me is so excited and kicked. My entry into the show has also been planned really well, with action sequences and stunts. Chitrashi Rawat expressed her grief over being out of FIR!

The pretty and petite Chitrashi Rawat, who had entered SAB TV’s famous comedy show FIR as sub-inspector Jwalamukhi Chautala (daughter of Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala, played by Kavita Kaushik), is currently in big dilemma.

The actress, who shot to fame with Shahrukh Khan starrer Chak De! India, is reportedly making exit from the show as the original lead Kavita Kaushik is returning to her show. “I was sad when I heard that I would not be a part of the show anymore. I am pretty okay with it now though,” said Chitrashi, who admits the show couldn’t continue with showing both mother and daughter. “It is of no point having two leading lady cops in the serial,” said Chitrashi. Fans of SAB TV’s FIR were all left aghast as they heard about their favorite Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik bidding adieu to the show. It is to note that Kavita, who had become synonymous to the show, had opted out of it for another show Tota Weds Maina on the same channel.

She was all bored of playing the same character for almost eight years and in search of some change, she took up a new show. Though this did create a void but the makers gave the show a leap and got Chak De girl Chitrashi Rawat. Read more…
